No, ~20% number that I use in regards to how many Muslims around the world are radical is not given to me by Fox News. It is, admittedly, a tricky figure to compose, obviously. Definition of radical determines a lot of it, do you believe radical to simply be those who commit mass murder in the name of Islam? Or do you believe, as I do, that anyone who believes mass murder in the name of Islam is justified is radicalized? If the latter, then yes, the number is somewhere around ~20% of Muslims worldwide have been found to believe that mass violence in the name of Allah is justified.
Now I know, it’s up to me to find that number for you on some website, some website that no matter what you’ll simply disregard as “far right propaganda”, regardless of it’s actual credibility or validity. But, the information is out there for anyone who chooses to find it, and I hope that you do!
First off, Islam is not a race, Muslim is not a race. The race you’re thinking of is “Arab” which is not a synonym for “Muslim”. There are many Christian Arabs in Iraq, Syria, and the Levant. I feel, in a way, that calling me a racist for believing the factual number that ~20% of Muslims do not denounce radical Islamic terrorism is actually… Somewhat racist.
However, I digress. ISIS is Islamic, Islamic is not ISIS, square and rectangle, what have you. However, ~20% of black people don’t believe black gang violence, drug culture, etc is “justified”, as it were. ~20% of Hispanic people do not believe that what the cartel did/does is “justified”. ~20% of Germans don’t believe that what the Nazis did was “justified”. I suppose I could go on with that thought, but it would be redundant.
I judge human beings on a case-by-case basis, however it is still good to practice extreme caution when, again, ~20% support radical Islamic terrorism in the name of Allah. Especially when it comes to the safety of our people here in America.
I’d also like to add that every instance of Trump’s “racism” is entirely assumed upon by the people who ingest mainstream media and twitter trends for their information gathering. Not to insinuate that that is indeed how you get all of your informationDonny, but the truth is that the comments;
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems to us. They’re bringing drugs.They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people! But I speak to border guards and they tell us what we’re getting. And it only makes common sense. They’re sending us not the right people. It’s coming from more than Mexico.”
This was in reference, within context, to his theory, a theory which is backed by the vast majority of border guards and those who are tasked with catching and deporting illegal immigrants, that the Mexican government sees our open borders and ships their worst, hardened criminals over the border so that they don’t have to be tasked with the financial burden of housing them, feeding them, etc.
Then you have this recent quote about Muslims that everyone is up in arms over;
“Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine. Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life. If I win the election for President, we are going to Make America Great Again.”
What this means, is that we shouldn’t allow Muslims into our country for the time being until we have a better vetting system of which we can sift through the threats.
Now, I fully understand that you have every right to disagree with that, and I fully respect your opinion to disagree with those ideas, but they are not in any way racist, and calling him one is slander and defamation, to be honest.
How is it possible for a human being to be so dense? I’m sitting here telling you that I’m closer to rational and logical than a Trump supporter, which is what you want me to be, yet you’re telling me that you’re exactly the same thing. You’re literally the same thing as a Trump supporter. I sit here, in the middle, in rational, common sense, common ground, striving for unity above almost all else, and I’m looking at both Trump supporters and Sanders supporters as delusional insane fucking morons, and yet both Trump and Sanders supporters look at the other in the same light. How can you not see that you’re both fucking stupid and hypocritical? If you’re against far right retardation, then you NEED to be against far left retardation, else you be a hypocritical fucking moron.
